The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at KMCT CEETM, Kasaragod, affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), provides a strong foundation in computer science while preparing students for the evolving technology industry.

The programme covers programming, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies, combining theoretical learning with hands-on experience and real-world applications. An Honours degree option is also available for students seeking advanced learning and research opportunities.

With modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art laboratories, experienced faculty, industry exposure, project-based learning, and opportunities for research and innovation, the programme develops students’ technical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and professional skills.

Graduates are prepared for diverse careers in software development, AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science, cloud computing, and other emerging technology domains.

Program Outcomes(POs)

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

  1. 1. Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  2. 2. Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  3. 3. Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, and cultural, societal, and environmental factors.
  4. 4. Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge, including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information, to provide valid conclusions.
  5. 5. Modern Tool Usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modeling, to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
